Drouin West Primary School was established in 1874 and the first school in West Gippsland in Eastern Victoria. The facilities and grounds reflect the rural setting and have been extensively upgraded.
As part of the latest upgrade, our Redcat soundfield technology was embraced. Teachers use our Flexmike to capture their voices and the Redcat Access – using Exciter speaker technology – delivers crisp and clear verbal instruction to all learners irrespective of how far they are away from the teacher. New screens were installed too.
Prioritising soundfield means that Drouin West Primary attaches the same value on auditory learning as it does on visual learning as part of its core purpose to ‘Nurture, Enrich, Inspire and Achieve’.
