Hear and Learn works closely with Architects, Electrical Consultants and Integrators to help create learning spaces that perform to their peak performance.
We share with these stakeholders advice we regularly procure from Access Consultants and Audiologists so that best practice decisions can be made about performance-based solutions to comply with the Building and Construction Code and Disability Legislation.
One example of this occurred recently with our work with stakeholders in Far North Queensland. A Catholic Secondary College endorsed the advice we supplied to a local integrator, Architect and Electrical Consultant which explained the fluid nature of current and future hearing aid technology, the redundancy of deemed to satisfy provisions in the Building and Construction Code and the merits of voice capture and distribution for all learners.
The end result is that a new wing at this Secondary College has been outfitted with 6 Hear and Learn SoundHouse systems
